Eligibility Criteria

  • Valid full-time job offer from a participating community employer
  • At least 1 year of work experience (or international graduate in community)
  • Meet language requirements (CLB 4–6 depending on occupation)
  • Minimum Canadian high school diploma or equivalent
  • Proof of settlement funds (unless already working in Canada)
  • Intention to live and work in the community

Application Process

  1. Secure a job offer in a participating community
  2. Apply for a community recommendation
  3. Submit Permanent Residency application to IRCC
  4. Apply for a temporary work permit (optional) while waiting
  5. Receive Permanent Residency and settle in the community
